Remember,  all photographers are not professional photographers. What is the skill requirement for the person behind the camera at the mall? A professional photographer is skilled and has dedicated their professional career to working with you to create beautiful images and lasting memories. Having a camera does not create a photographer. SO how do you make a choice? Often it is a simple feeling of personality and rapport. Our main job is to capture emotions and moments. If the photographer does not have experience working in a variety of situations, chances are you and your family will not mesh and the result will show in the images.

Putting on formal clothing, waiting your turn at the mall with the kids getting antsy, the baby is hungry and you are praying everyone cooperates as  you are rushed through a 30 minute photo session is not typically anyone's idea of a good experience.
